​What the unaccomplished DEI hire is proposing here is unattainable. Stratton is saying to create affordability, she will cut taxes on the middle class while raising the minimum wage and dramatically expanding Medicare. By raising the minimum wage to $25 hourly she is creating more inflation, worsening conditions for the middle class. By expanding Medicare, Stratton would hurt the middle class as premiums, deductibles and other associated medical expenses would rise. Eventually, the burden to pay for Stratton’s plan would fall on the middle class she claims she is helping. Illinois’ middle class cannot afford Stratton in the Senate.
