He had to go to court because of Chicago municipal code 10-8-520 which was passed by city council of which you’re a member of.

We’ve learned @Giannoulias will announce for mayor of Chicago soon. We’re told it could come as early as this weekend (Sunday). Does this mean Alexi will abandon his reelection bid for SOS? We’d like to point out how @susanamendoza10 sought to be sincere with voters when she chose to step down as Comptroller to run for mayor. Will Alexi do the same, or will he narcissistically pursue both offices?
